Sunday, August 6 from 7:30AM-8:30AM
Hybrid Room, Huntington I, Lobby Level
The Junior Scholar Network invites you to the 2nd JSN Breakfast Meeting, in which we are delighted to present a panel that will tackle the topic of “Technology, Crises, and Business Ethics”. The panel will address questions regarding to what extent the business ethics field is responding to current challenges, whether our response is sufficiently timely and appropriate (both in the classroom and through our research), and how certain groups’ distrust of scientists may undermine the impact of academic work. Everybody attending the conference is welcome to the event, which will also be available online through the hybrid part of the conference. We are sure that the stellar roster of panelists will stimulate an interesting and theoretically informed conversation on the topic, of interest to both junior and more senior academics.
The panel will be open online to all JSN members, whether they have signed up for the conference or not. We thank the SBE organizing committee for this opportunity and hope to see many of you attend the event online! A link will be provided beforehand. After the panel, those of you who want to stay in the zoom session and socialize with the rest of the JSN are welcome to do so, we will keep it open for 30 minutes to give us a chance to comment on the panel highlights and connect with other JSN members.
