Tenure-track faculty position in Sustainability and Enterprise at Arizona State University

Published on

“The School of Sustainability (SOS) in the College of Global Futures (CGF) at Arizona State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Sustainability and Enterprise, expected to begin August, 2024. The open rank hire will be made at the assistant, associate, or full professor level, depending on experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.

The SOS strategic plan identifies enterprise, organizational strategy and management, circular economy, and environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices as critical emerging areas of research and teaching in sustainability. New knowledge and discovery in how organizations, economies, supply chains, private industry, and reporting methods can foster just transitions and sustainability transformations is urgently needed to achieve the goals of SOS, the College of Global Futures, Global Futures Laboratory, and ASU. In addition, business enterprise and ESG are quickly becoming some of the most sought after elements of the SOS undergraduate and graduate curricula, particularly in its professional masters programs: the Master of Sustainability Solutions, Master of Sustainability Leadership, and Executive Master of Sustainability Leadership. Increased demand for short courses and credentials in subjects related to Sustainability and Enterprise, such as ESG, circularity, carbon and greenhouse gas emissions accounting, supply chain management, and true cost accounting are new opportunities for SOS.”
