Annual Conference Updates from the Executive Director

Published on

Hello All!

I am looking forward to seeing many of you at SBE’s first in-person conference since 2019, coming up in Seattle just a couple of weeks!

I would like to share a few announcements with you, as we continue our preparations for a great conference:

  • The online registration deadline is being changed to Wednesday, July 20, so that we can provide accurate attendance estimates to the hotel in a timely manner.  After July 20, online registration will close, and onsite registration will be available starting on August 4.  Registration is available at the conference webpage: https://sbeonline.org/conference/2022-annual-conference/
  • The conference program-of-record is now available on the conference webpage as a .pdf, and will also be available on hardcopy at the registration desk.  It contains lots of information about our conference, including detailed session information.  I encourage you to take a look.
  • We have one update to the program that is not included in the program of record.  Please see below for a fuller description of the Junior Scholars Network Breakfast Session.  Contrary to the program, it is not invitation-only, but rather is open to all, with no RSVP required (and complimentary breakfast included)!

Junior Scholars Network Breakfast Session
Saturday, 8:00am-9:00am
(breakfast served from 7:00am)
Pioneer, 4th Floor
All welcome – from junior to senior scholars

  • Finally, SBE encourages all attendees to take prudent measures to prevent the spread of COVID and other infectious diseases, including frequent hand-washing, masking, and social distancing.  However, SBE is not imposing any additional restrictions beyond those mandated by the hotel, and / or the city, state, or Federal governments at the time of the conference.  Please check with your hotel and / or the conference registration desk upon your arrival for information about any such restrictions.

The SBE program this year reflects the responsiveness of the business ethics community to the pressing issues of our time.  It promises to be an interesting and inspiring gathering.  See you there! – Jason
