Description
The Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University seeks applicants for a teaching-track position in business ethics beginning in the fall semester of 2022. This is a career-oriented, renewable faculty appointment with primary responsibility for teaching and contributing to the educational and intellectual mission of the Tepper School.
Qualifications
Applicants should have completed (or expect completion by end of 2022) a Ph.D. in business ethics or a related discipline. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong foundation in ethical theory. The new faculty member’s responsibilities will include teaching ethics courses at masters and undergraduate levels at the Tepper School.
Carnegie Mellon offers teaching-track appointments with multi-year contracts and promotion opportunities. Applications for an appointment at the assistant teaching professor level will be considered. New Ph.D.s as well as candidates with some teaching experience will be considered. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Experienced applicants should have made a positive impact on curriculum and student development and have a distinguished teaching record.
