The project, in short, is to promote the Economy of Communion approach to business which focuses on utilizing business practice to bring about communion between people, and to help the poor especially. We will put together a website with video and case study and other resources which will allow faculty to have the means to introduce EOC into their classrooms. We will also put together a complete EOC course which will be available free of charge for schools to use. (everything is free). We want to make everything as user-friendly as possible, and help smaller Catholic and Christian schools provide materials which help students find a more humane approach to business. There will be a total of 3 books and more than 50 case studies produced through this project, along with lots of social media and other resources.
The assistant director will help with planning and development of the resources, creation and maintenance of the website and its content, and will oversee 2 student interns who will provide 10-15hrs/wk each to help with video editing, animated videos, script editing, research, and other tasks. The job is funded for 3 years and requires being in/near Omaha.
