“The Fay Horton Sawyier Doctoral Fellowship in Philosophy is a one-year residential fellowship, renewable for a second year, intended for graduate students at the dissertation stage of their studies interested in working with the Center for the Study of Ethics in the Professions and philosophy faculty at Illinois Institute of Technology.
We are seeking candidates interested in the fields of applied ethics, bioethics, research ethics, and ethics of emerging technologies and artificial intelligence. Candidates will be asked to teach two courses per spring and fall semester (lower- and upper-level humanities and philosophy courses), or substitute one course per semester for assisting in developing ethics modules for Illinois Tech courses or engaging in collaborative research with ethics center faculty, staff, and fellows.”
