“The Janet Prindle Institute for Ethics at DePauw University invites applications for the position of Nancy Schaenen Endowed Visiting Scholar of Ethics to begin in August 2024. This is a two-year term position with an option to extend for a third year by mutual agreement.

The Schaenen Scholar position has the following main responsibilities. First, to teach 3 courses per year in the appropriate academic department. Second, to share their research expertise to engage intellectually with the DePauw community. This could include public lectures, arranging symposia, hosting visiting scholars, leading faculty reading groups, serving as a guest lecturer in a class, and so on. Third, to assist with the educational and academic aspects of our student internship programs, by providing training and mentorship to student interns. Fourth, to help manage various aspects of the Institute’s programming, including reviewing paper submissions, course proposals, and funding proposals.”
