“The Managerial Studies department at UIC’s College of Business Administration seeks an outstanding meso or macro social issues scholar (broadly defined) for a Bridge to Faculty (B2F) Postdoctoral Research Associate position. The goal of B2F is to recruit, mentor, and support the transition of an outstanding candidate from a two-year postdoctoral appointment (second year subject to satisfactory performance and University approval) to a research-active, tenure-track faculty position. Successful postdocs in the Bridge to Faculty program may have the opportunity to transition to tenure-track faculty at UIC starting in the 2025-2026 academic year. In addition to relationships within Managerial Studies and the College of Business, the B2F Postdoctoral Research Associate will participate in a cohort-based mentoring experience through the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity, and Engagement, where they will have the opportunity to network with other Bridge to Faculty Scholars from among some of UIC’s 16 colleges. This is a full-time position with highly competitive salary and benefits.”
