Dear SBE Members and Friends,

As you have seen, the SBE Board has opted to cancel our own in-person event, and transition our 2020 program online.

This message is to let you know about the new dates and times for the 2020 SBE Virtual Conference, and about how to register.

SBE is offering registration for our Virtual Conference at the following prices:
– $25 for SENTT Members of the Society (Students, Emeriti, and Non-Tenure Track)
– $40 for Members of the Society (in honor of the Society’s 40th anniversary)
– $75 for Non-members of the Society

I earnestly hope that you will join us online for the upcoming Virtual Conference, which will run from Monday, August 3 to Friday, August 7. To accommodate live participation by as many of our members and friends around the world as possible, the conference sessions will be offered live each day starting at 8 AM Pacific Daylight Time / 11 AM Eastern Daylight Time / 4 PM Greenwich Mean Time / 5 PM Central European Summer Time. We plan to have a marquee event (e.g., the Opening Plenary, the Presidential Address, the Lifetime Achievement Awards Presentation, the Joint Keynote Address, and the Business Meeting) at 12 PM Pacific Daylight Time / 3 PM Eastern Daylight Time / 8 PM Greenwich Mean Time / 9 PM Central European Summer Time. Social gatherings will be held at various times, to align with different time zones. A detailed conference program will be posted on our website by June 15.

Registration will open through Cambridge Core on June 22. You will be able to access the registration page through Cambridge Core, or through the SBE website.
