Dear SBE Members and Friends,

As restrictions on travel and gatherings proliferate around the globe, you may be wondering whether the 2020 Society for Business Ethics annual conference in Vancouver will be affected.

The SBE Board has been monitoring the situation, including announcements and updates from the government of British Columbia. The Board will continue to carefully consider our options to responsibly fulfill our mission while protecting the wellbeing of our attendees. In the meantime, preparation for the conference continues apace on the part of many people: submissions are being reviewed, award candidates are being considered, and a program is being prepared, even as contingency plans are being readied. On behalf of the Board, I will issue additional communications about the 2020 conference as appropriate.
