Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire invites applications for an initial three-year, potentially renewable, lecturer position in Business Ethics to begin August 2017. The person appointed to this innovative position will play a leading role in collaboratively developing and teaching a required undergraduate course in business ethics with a faculty member in the Philosophy Department in the College of Liberal Arts.
Minimum qualifications include a relevant advanced degree (DBA, Ph.D. or JD), a minimum of 3 to 5 years of prior teaching experience in the area of Business Ethics and either a record of publication or practical experience in the field. Publications can be in high quality research journals in business ethics, case studies that weigh heavily on business ethics, or articles on the teaching of business ethics in the curriculum. Applicants will be considered at the Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level. It is a full time position with a teaching load of six courses per year. In addition, the holder of this position will be expected to work closely with the lead faculty member in the Philosophy department to ensure that the required co-taught ethics course is well integrated, innovative, and of high quality. We expect this faculty member to also take the lead in helping Paul College to ensure that ethics is well integrated throughout the entire business curriculum at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition, lecturers are expected (and encouraged) to participate in the academic life of the College.
For full consideration and to apply, applicants interested in this position should upload a letter of application that expresses their interest and qualifications, along with their resume, recent teaching evaluations and a list of references to http://jobs.usnh.edu/postings/25274.
